Rafael Leao

Rafael Leao is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays primarily as a winger or forward. Known for his pace, dribbling and powerful left foot, he became a key attacking player for AC Milan in Italy's Serie A and a member of the Portugal national team. Early life

Leao was born in Almada, in the Lisbon metropolitan area of Portugal. He joined the youth academy of Sporting CP, one of Portugal's leading clubs, where he progressed through the ranks and developed his attacking style. He made his senior breakthrough with Sporting before a contractual dispute led to his departure from the club, an episode that drew attention early in his career.

Career
