Hasan Minhaj is an American comedian, writer, and television host known for his work as a correspondent on The Daily Show and as the creator and host of the Netflix series Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. Early life

Hasan Minhaj was born on September 23, 1985, in Davis, California, to parents who had emigrated from India. He has spoken extensively in his stand-up about his upbringing in a Muslim Indian-American household and about his relationship with his father. He attended the University of California, Davis, and began performing stand-up comedy, gradually building experience on the live circuit and in clubs before moving into television. Career
