Nas Daily
Video creator & entrepreneur
Nas Daily is the online persona of Nuseir Yassin, a video creator, blogger and entrepreneur known for producing short daily videos that reached an enormous global audience. His upbeat, fast-paced clips about places, people and ideas helped popularize the one-minute video format on social media and turned him into one of the more recognizable digital creators of his era.
Early life
Nuseir Yassin was born on February 9, 1992, in Arraba, a town in northern Israel, into a Palestinian Arab family. He pursued higher education in the United States, studying at Harvard University, where he focused on economics and computer science. After graduating he worked as a software engineer in the technology sector before deciding to leave his job to pursue online video full time.
Career
In 2016 Yassin launched the "Nas Daily" project, committing to publish a video every day for 1,000 consecutive days. Each clip was roughly one minute long, delivered in an energetic, direct-to-camera style and typically closing with a signature sign-off. The videos documented his travels around the world, profiling unusual places, social initiatives, businesses and individuals, and emphasizing optimistic, accessible storytelling.
The format proved highly shareable and the project grew rapidly on social platforms, accumulating millions of followers and billions of views over time. Yassin built a team and expanded the operation into a broader media company, producing content in multiple languages and regions and assembling a network of creators working in a similar style. His approach was widely imitated and helped demonstrate the commercial viability of short-form, platform-native video.
Recent work
As his audience grew, Yassin shifted toward building businesses around the creator economy. He founded Nas Academy, an online education venture offering courses taught by creators and experts on subjects including content creation and digital skills, and established Nas Studios as the parent organization for his ventures. These efforts aimed to help others develop online audiences and turn creative work into sustainable careers.
Yassin has remained an active public figure, speaking about entrepreneurship, social media and the business of online content, and continuing to publish videos and commentary. His work and public statements, particularly given his background, have at times drawn attention and debate. He has often emphasized the discipline of consistent daily output as central to his success, and he has marked milestones in his career, such as the conclusion of the original 1,000-day run, as public events shared with his followers. He is generally recognized as an early and prominent popularizer of the short daily video format and as an entrepreneur focused on the tools and education surrounding online content creation, and his influence is frequently cited in discussions of how short-form video reshaped social media.
