Early life

Fox was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in Texas, where he became a highly rated high school basketball prospect. Known for his exceptional speed and ball-handling, he was widely recruited and chose to play college basketball at the University of Kentucky under coach John Calipari. In his single college season he was a standout, drawing national attention for his performances, including a memorable high-scoring game in the NCAA tournament against a top rival.
