JISOO Unveils 'Sun Showers' for The Angry Birds Movie 3

Get ready to experience a burst of sunshine! JISOO, the enchanting member of BLACKPINK, is releasing a new song titled "Sun Showers" for the highly anticipated The Angry Birds Movie 3. According to a recent report by Billboard, this original tune is set to illuminate the film when it hits theaters on December 3rd, alongside a vibrant trailer that’ll surely hype up fans everywhere.

A Personal Touch

Not only does JISOO lend her incredible talent to the film's soundtrack, but she also co-wrote the track, bringing a personal flair to the project. The accompanying artwork features a special creation from her middle school days — a quirky dustball character named "Shumon." This nostalgic touch adds a delightful sentiment, making the song even more special for the star.

In her own words, JISOO expressed her excitement: "I’m so happy to be part of The Angry Birds Movie 3. I’ve always loved how the films bring together such colorful characters, humor and heart… I wanted to capture the movie’s playful and bright energy through a fun, feel-good song that makes people want to smile and dance along."

More Than Just a Song

Contributing to a cinematic experience is no small feat, and for JISOO, it has been incredibly rewarding. She describes the process of crafting a song for an animated feature as deeply meaningful, showcasing her passion for both music and storytelling.

The upcoming flick, directed by John Rice, boasts an impressive voice cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Keke Palmer, alongside many others. The plot promises a fresh take as a familiar angry bird faces the ultimate test of parenthood — all while attempting to save the world this holiday season.

BLACKPINK's Musical Journey

Fans have been treated this year as JISOO continues to deliver hit after hit. Just last month, she released "Click," and shortly after, she dropped "Addicted." The anticipation surrounding her upcoming contributions reflects her undeniable influence and the sheer joy she draws from her artistic endeavors, solidifying her status as a powerhouse in the K-pop scene.

While BLACKPINK as a group continues to break records — including being the first female K-pop act to top the Billboard 200 — each member's individuality shines brighter than ever. From JENNIE's captivating tracks like "Less Than a Lover" to BLACKPINK's overarching achievements, the group's evolution is a testament to their artistic versatility and enduring appeal.
